Since 1975, the Mogi Guaçu unit has sought to collaborate in educating socially responsible children and adolescents. To do this, educational and socio-environmental initiatives are held, which include an essay contest for students in the last years of Primary and Secondary School and the literary contest, in which basic education teachers participate.

In addition to the contests, there is also a stage of the campaign geared towards environmental conservation, where participating schools’ students and teachers and IP volunteer professionals reforest degraded areas.

Education Division, Municipal Environment Secretariats and City Halls in the Mogi Guaçu region.

Conservation and environmental restoration of green areas are done in the cities of Mogi Guaçu, Mogi Mirim and Estiva Gerbi. The saplings used in planting come from trees native to the predominant biome in the location established and are specifically for use in reforesting degraded areas.
