The project began in 2013, in the city of Três Lagoas, Mato Grosso do Sul, spreading popular uses and customs that preserve factors of the region’s cultural identity.

Implementation of beds of herbs in the shape of a human body was proposed so that kids and their families could enjoy the benefits of the garden for a healthier and preventive diet. The project also includes activities to raise social and environmental awareness and allow kids to play a leading role, providing young people with training on the environment and sustainability.

To consolidate activities, reports were drafted on water savings and more efficient faucets were donated to the school. In another initiative, students were able to get it so that the school lunch includes other healthy foods, like vegetables.


  • Raise awareness, engage and educate young students so that they spread environmental conservation concepts and best practices, in addition to sustainable development of the community where they live.

Students enrolled in the 6th to 9th grades.
